About this product

Portion & Tasting Cups

The small format that does an enormous amount of work: sampling pours at a taproom, tasting flights, sauce and dressing portions, dosing cups, and the giveaway shot at a launch.

At this size two things matter more than anything else, and both are usually ignored. The first is de-nesting: small cups stack tightly, and an under-rolled rim turns a sleeve into one solid plastic column that a server cannot separate one-handed while a queue watches. Our rim roll is specified so cups come apart cleanly and quietly.

The second is the fill line. A tasting pour is a legal and commercial quantity, not a vibe, so the fill line is moulded or printed where you actually pour to — and the quote states both that number and the rim capacity, rather than the single flattering figure the category prefers.

Lids are matched by rim diameter, sealed or vented, for sauces and prepped portions that travel.

FAQ

Portion & Tasting Cups: quick answers

What is the minimum order for portion cups?
Minimum order is just 12 — with bulk pricing tiers as quantities grow.
How fast will my order arrive?
Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and the finished order ships in about 2 weeks — express turnaround is available for tight dates.
Why do small cups jam together in the sleeve?
Because the rim was not rolled properly. A rolled rim leaves a bead that holds each cup a fraction clear of the one beneath it, so a sleeve de-nests with a light pull. Skip or shorten that roll to save a moment of tooling time and the cups seat into each other like a solid column — which a server then fights with, one-handed, in front of a queue. We specify the roll, and it is the first thing to check on any sample.
Can the fill line be a real measured line?
Yes, and for tasting and dosing work it should be. We can mould a fill step into the wall or print a line at a stated volume, and the quote records what that volume is. It matters commercially — a taproom pouring flights and a clinic dosing measures both need a number somebody can point at, not a cup that is roughly about right.
