Flexible PP Cups

The workhorse resin: polypropylene, very slightly hazy where PET is glass-clear, and completely unbothered by the things that destroy a rigid cup. Squeeze it and it gives; let go and it comes back. Bury it in an ice bin, drop it, hand it to a six-year-old — it bends.

That toughness is why PP is the honest answer for anywhere a cup meets a crowd: festival bars, pool decks, concourses, school and office catering, and every service where cups spend the night in ice rather than on a shelf.

The haze is the whole cost, and we would rather show you than sell around it — ask for both resins in the sample pack and hold them side by side under a light. Most buyers who thought they needed glass-clarity discover they were really buying survivability.

Is the haze noticeable to a customer?
Side by side against PET, yes — PP reads as very slightly milky rather than glass-clear. On its own in a hand, almost nobody notices, and a printed wrap covers most of what they would look through anyway. Does flexible mean flimsy?
No — those are different properties, and conflating them is how thin cups get sold. Flexibility is the resin; sturdiness is the wall gauge, and we quote the gauge as a number. A heavy-gauge PP cup feels substantial in a hand and still gives instead of cracking when it is gripped. A thin PET cup feels rigid right up to the moment it crazes. Feel is a poor guide here; the two specs on the quote are not.
